Good product for the price

Quick Overview: Great for large doors. Good product for the price. I hung 10 inset doors (2 hinges per door) on a built-in sideboard and settled in after about 3 hinge installations (pun intended). There is no such thing as a good template, so you'll have to be smart (see below). The hinge "click" was a lot less aggressive than people were saying. Yes, they are difficult to open out of the box, but once installed on a standard sized door, they work as expected. I read a review that said the screws aren't the biggest - it's true. Not magnetized and a shallow groove for a drill to pierce. Wasn't really a problem, just the hassle of pre-drilling and drilling 160 screws. Template Making Process: It is best to use a piece of wood (same thickness as your door), install the hinge on the jamb (slots only). ), then mark the chip (with the hinge closed), transfer the chip to the door and drill the chip into the door (slotted holes only, do not drill through the door). !). These drill holes on your door ensure that the door is properly seated in the closed position. It is recommended to use a very thin buffer material (thin cardboard) to create small offsets between your pry bar and the post/threshold/head etc. Once the door is hung (using only the slots) you can make small adjustments, with the door standing in the open position, drill and screw the door in place using the remaining screw holes. Much luck.
