Ear I didn't buy this to listen to music. I bought them to listen to public speaking and plays. So I didn't need them very big. But since I can't help it, once I got it, I paired it (which was quick with my iPhone 12) and played a song I'd heard a million times on much more expensive devices. The first thing that struck me was how much bass they didn't have. I was disappointed and immediately thought of sending them back even though I didn't buy them for music lol! But I've also noticed that they have really good instrument separation and a decent soundstage. Before packing them up, I decided to try one of the earbuds in a different size. The middle ear pad is installed. This greatness has not given me a good seal. So I tried the big one. Then I turned on the same song and the bass difference got better. In terms of sound quality, they rival countless headphones that cost twice as much. I say that because most headphones in this price range are decent, not great. To be more precise, while the bass certainly has more presence with the right ear-cup size, it still lacks bass and the mids are weak, which is annoying. from their musicality. All of these problems could be solved if the manufacturer provided better ear pads/tips. When I try to get a tighter fit by elevating the ear slightly or by manually adjusting the earbuds in the ear, the bass gets clearer and deeper, and eventually the mids come through as well. But as I said, the separation is good. The highs are clear and well defined. For $19 they meet my needs. And with some interchangeable earbuds, they'd be great for music. This is the basis of my 4 star rating. My suggestion: try them out. Try different ear tips/tips to find the one that suits you best. If you're not getting the bass you want, try other earbuds. There are different packages for $6.
