Hello. This is MUCH easier to manage! I have a rabbit and also live in a small apartment. Big damn hay sacks don't even make sense to me. It's compact and MUCH less dusty. I also have a bird, and the extra dust doesn't suit anyone, especially him. It eliminates so much clutter and waste. I see if you have a few pets or need a lot of hay this might not make sense, but for the vast majority it should save space, dust and clutter. Not a lot of carrots in that front little strip you see. It's not a deal breaker for me, just an extra treat for my rabbit aside from not making a mess. Once you take it apart, there will be a lot more than you even think. I usually break them in half for my little bunny, he weighs less than a pound and that's more than enough! Whoever came up with this deserves an award!
