Sony goes through ups and downs in camera design. I've had W-series cameras for years and if their W-50 series was a great camera, their W-100 series wasn't up to par, but they've done really well with this W560. It's all about the firmware, not much changes on the cameras themselves. The Bionz engine seems like a good firmware design. The low light capabilities are very good for a $100 camera. The only thing that confuses me a bit is the size of the camera. It's not that it's too big, on the contrary, it's too small. There is a moment when a size too small will not fit in a person's hand, and that moment is coming. It's hard to grab it, it's so thin (I'm a man). That being said, I would definitely buy another one with similar specs, even a little thicker (higher magnification?).
