Review on πŸ‘œ Solo New York Jay Leather Laptop Tote: Stylish Espresso Bag for Professionals by Rick Rogers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice outside, flimsy inside

I've had this bag for over a year with almost daily use. I wanted to test it out for a while before writing a review. This bag is spacious and practical as a laptop carrier. I would not recommend it as a replacement for a book bag. All the necessary college supplies fit in the bag. There is enough space for my MacBook, a 2" folder and a 1" textbook. However, this bag is very heavy with all these things in it. The bag itself is light and will strain your shoulders if you intend to use it on a daily basis. Appearance: A rich dark coffee color that stays neutral with any outfit. The leather is stretchy but strong and of good quality but will not stand up on its own due to the weight of the bag. The straps are wide and sit comfortably on your shoulders, but dig into your shoulders if you're carrying more than one laptop. The rivets give the bag an edge and some structure. Interior: The most disappointing feature of this bag is the interior lining and material. Although the color is light, the fabric is of very poor quality. The stitching is not very well finished and will unravel after a few uses. The inner pockets are very flimsy and won't fit my TI calculator - the weight of the calculator tore through the pocket. The bags are not completely sewn - there are holes on the sides so that the handles can crawl through completely. For this reason I never use pockets and use a zippered pocket instead, although it does take away from organization. An additional pocket on the outside of the bag is convenient for carrying phones and pens. Your things fit tight enough so they don't fall out. All in all, I've had this bag for over a year with no major issues. The inner pockets are fancy, but I still didn't use them and didn't pay attention to them. This bag is suitable for everyday use, but I would not recommend it for heavy loads. I hope I could help!
