Review on High-Quality Apple MFI Certified Aux Lightning Cord - iPhone Audio Link to Car Jack, Headphones & Speakers - Black by Michael Custodio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust and comfortable - no more keys!

I'm not going to give up my (many) wired headphones for crappy Bluetooth audio, but I really hated carrying around my Apple dongle - aside from being flimsy and clunky, you can also easy to lose . I also like to use quality cables with my headphones, but that anemic dongle was a weak point in my setup. When I saw these cables cutting out the middleman, I got excited. The first one I tried was a few dollars cheaper but was a big disappointment. It claims to be "MFI certified" but it isn't (you can look it up on Apple's website). I got a horrible "Your phone may not work with this accessory" popup when I plugged it in and to make matters worse when I started playing music it played through my phone's speaker for a few seconds , before switching to my headphones. every time (kinda awkward in my office). So it came back and after making sure it was indeed MFI certified I bought it. BIG improvement! It's just as strong and durable as the upgraded non-lightning cables I use for my headphones, and it sounds just as good or even better, especially since I no longer run a signal through a crappy dongle. And the woven outer insulation is really premium and doesn't make my ears buzz when something hits them. This is the real deal at this price. Don't skimp on fake MFI cables like me and chase expensive "high quality" cables. That's all I wanted in a cable.
