Passed through LAX and JFK in my luggage with no problems. I have a high "Bβ level of service and ALL my full sized skincare products fit in one bag leaving room for more. As long as it's under 3.5 ounces, you're fine. I suggest taking it out of your carry-on so it can be seen by the TSA for inspection. This worked for me.
