Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Industrial Style Swivel Bar Stool: Black Padded Seat, Chrome Legs - BIG RED Torin by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor design due to oversight/lack of quality

A little quality control would go a long way. The first one I ordered came. The bag of parts was torn and because the box was badly sealed, half the parts were missing. Revain sent me a replacement (although was SICK sending the old one back due to the lousy packaging) with the parts intact in the bag. The instructions for this were TERRIBLE. Again paying someone an hour of work to find the best instructions could do wonders for this product. So when you put it together, it wobbles like crazy. The legs of the chair consist of 2 parts; You screw them together after mounting one onto the other top rails. The problem is they didn't account for that 3/16" overlap and both leg pieces are the same length so you end up with one pair of legs shorter than the other! Such a stupid design flaw, which again could easily be fixed by simply adjusting one side of the legs OR adding spacers/longer legs to those two legs. So, I basically have a stool rocking chair in the store - very annoying. I suppose it could be taken to a mill for a little adjustment. Otherwise, the padded seat feels decent and solid unless you're sitting on it with a screwdriver in your pocket or something. It doesn't spin very well, but that doesn't bother me too much. All in all, this thing needs a little more foresight and quality, and it's going to make a HUGE difference. As it is, I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Seat is 14.5" in diameter with high density foam padding for added comfort
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
