Installed the valve, noticed immediately that the flat rubber washer supplied seemed too thin, when tightening the screws to the tank there was no feeling of compression. Luckily before reinstalling the tank I checked it for leaks with a small amount of gasoline. A lot has leaked out. I ended up throwing out the rubber washer that came with this valve and used an old, rotten and cracked o-ring that had been on the quad and sealed it since it was released in 2004. Before installing, make sure you have the correct o-ring!
