$99 Active Noise Canceling Headphones. They work! Do I have to say more? ANR works and what's even better, the customer service seems to be pretty good. I've had these for about a year now and am very happy with them. If you're looking to shell out $300 to get "deep, booming bass that makes you feel like you're in a symphony hall," then this pair probably isn't for you. Did I mention these are a pair of $99 ANR headphones? Turn them on, close your ears, turn on ANR and flying is 100% more fun when you can actually ignore your neighbor and actually hear the movie you want to watch on your phone. Could the design be better? Absolutely. The earbud retention system [or lack thereof] at the end of the collar is poorly designed; and in fairness the battery lasted exactly 344 days. I called support without really knowing what the problem was and they quickly suggested without question that I might be eligible for a warranty replacement. Wow! I didn't even know I was still under warranty. Luckily Revain keeps my receipts for me and I was able to download a copy. Receipt sent to Fiaton, form filled out and in less than 2 weeks I have a new pair. Should it have taken longer? Naturally. But the ear plus sits comfortably in my ears, the ACTIVE NOISE REDUCTION system works great on airplanes [not much against high frequency noise, but no idea what's within ANR capability], waterproofing is adequate, they're lightweight. And did I mention they cost $99. For the money you can't go wrong in my opinion. Very happy!
