Review on πŸͺ’ SteelBee Razor Saver: Extend Blade Life, Protect Against Rust and Corrosion, Ideal for Travel by Kristen Narvaez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, it really works.

Today I no longer wonder if the steel bee is really doing something or not. This has undoubtedly extended the life of my shaver. Despite being a double-edged safety razor for my face, I use a chest razor cartridge and have always wondered why my cartridge dulls faster instead of cutting as close as my safety razors. despite the presence of 3-4 additional blades. The answer could be that in humid environments my shower razor takes a hit too and this product definitely fixes that. The steel bee is easy to use. It attaches easily and holds the razor firmly. It also has a rubber base that helps it grip surfaces and lift the razor slightly to allow for more efficient evaporation and further prevent rust and corrosion. The blade I'm using far outlived its smear strip so I'll have to use some soap, but the blade itself still hits hard and I don't see any signs of it slowing down. If I can shave another week, the steel bee will pay for itself. I'm hoping there's a market big enough for Steel Bee to make an old-school double-edged razor blade model. There are some vintage blades that I really liked, but they are no longer made and only sold by private sellers, so they are too expensive for me. If a steel bee were made to extend the life of these types of blades, it would open up a whole new world for me and other wet razors. *um-um* UPDATE: My review was written on September 11th. As of December 2nd, my Dorco Pace 6 cartridge is officially out of service. It's amazing. The steel bee has already paid for itself tenfold. If the Steel Bee itself lasts as long as they claim, it will reduce my shaving bill to next to nothing.
