I was building a new home in Arizona in New Zealand. This is usually of interest to all beetle species, including scorpions. Although my house appears to be well sealed, I've lived long enough to know that small creatures find their way into our homes. So I bought a smaller black flashlight to put by my bed so I can quickly scan the floor and linens before lying down or getting up. Luckily I haven't faced a scorpion yet! I bought a KOBRA UV black light flashlight to use outside at night. It's more bright with a wider lens. So I expect to see scorpions coming my way one of those nights. And"no,""catch and let go" not. I will poison and crush each such creature and pack its remains into a sack. and throw it away (I've read that if you leave a dead scorpion where it is, its smell will attract other scorpions). So, many thanks to KOBRA for making this amazing tool! I recently took it on a trip to check the cleanliness of the bedding and carpeting (both were in surprisingly good condition). It's a nice solid black light.
