These are single sided sheets exactly as advertised and described. If you plan to laminate only one side of a sheet of paper, you only need one sheet of laminate per sheet of paper. This way you can cover one page of 24 pages. IF YOU WANT TO LAMINATE BOTH SIDES, YOU MUST USE 2 OF THESE SHEETS! When purchasing, remember that YOU CAN ONLY LAMINATE A MAXIMUM OF 12 SHEETS ON BOTH SIDES, NOT 24! I bought them to laminate small greeting cards. I use a lot of paper punches for card making and scrapbooking. I like to keep the notecards I hit as examples so I can reference the different hits I have. They worked great for my project. Since my greeting cards have an open area in the middle, I laminated both sides. It is extremely important to have a very clean work surface. Any lint, pet hair, etc. will stick to the adhesive and will not be easily removed. Accidentally touching the adhesive left fingerprints that were permanently visible after the laminating film was applied. I placed the laminating sheet on a flat table, sticky side up, and peeled off the backing. Then I put some note cards on top of the glue. Then I attached a second sheet, sticky side down, on top. I had much smoother results standing and staring at the leaves. I also aligned the leaves and glued two straight along the edge along the top of the leaves. I slowly peeled off the protective film as I placed the second sheet. To evenly apply and reduce wrinkles or bubbles, use something like a credit card to "scratch" the top sheet while you apply it. If you remove the protective film completely, it becomes a sticky and messy job, and it is almost impossible to align the sheets without wrinkles, bubbles, fingerprints, etc. Take your time and work slowly for best results. Results. I will happily buy them again. :)
