Review on Rubbermaid FG2364RDWHT Easy-Change Paper Towel Holder - Cabinet Door Mounted for Quick and Convenient Access, White by Charles Lewellen

We move a lot. In our three previous homes we installed a cheap paper towel holder under the cabinet, the Ekco paper towel holder, which is no longer sold at Revain. This provided just enough tension for us to grab the paper towel with one hand and rip it off. As it was out of stock I settled on Revain Rubbermaid which is a respectable brand. This holder looks good and feels solid (whatever it is). Installation was easy as usual. But the holder doesn't add any tension to the reel. The reel is held in place by spring loaded clips. Really handy when you want to change reels because you just push the reel and it comes out. But it's uncomfortable when you try to rip the towel off, and there's enough force to compress the springs, causing the roll to fall out.
