Alternative invigorating and moisturizing option. I like them both very much. The moisturizing version is very gentle and completely natural. No synthetic chemical preservatives so I don't have to worry about chemical burns. And while some people say the scent isn't great or that it smells different, to me it smells nice, astringently herbal with a certain pungency. Again, this is a very mild cleanser and I don't see how anyone can go wrong with this product for dry or combination skin. Another thing I love about this cleanser is that I haven't had any reaction to it after using it regularly. It won't mess up your acid mantle too much, meaning the formula isn't overly acidic overall. Highly recommended.
