Good substitute for carriages.
These are used in many inexpensive bicycle bottom brackets (cranks) and are good value for money. I repair bikes for an animal shelter in Mexico, so changing bearings is a common thing. The bike holds 9 of these bearings on each side, making it easy to go through 100 bearing balls.
