The chest is not very strong and durable. It's a cloth-like material...I liked it at first, but my 10-month-old is 17.5lbs, crawls, and can stand by holding on to furniture...She's not tall enough to carry her toys (used toy box) so she goes mad trying to get in and on her - and she collapses and falls to the ground. I ended up turning it on its side so she wouldn't try to use it to prop herself up so she could get to her toys... Might come in handy for older kids or for storing small items.
