Different types: I've tried fancier (wet installed) film protectors before and nothing compares to glass, it's smooth and very transparent. There are fingerprints everywhere, but the movie is MUCH worse. You also have to be careful what you spray if your phone is anywhere near, as it can either stain or partially melt the screen protector (like bug spray). With screen protectors made of glass, you don't have these problems. Of course, the glass can't be close to the edge as it needs to rest on the flat surface of the phone. I also tried a full-coverage tempered glass screen protector that has a black border where the adhesive is to better conform to the curves of the screen. It looks a lot nicer and more seamless, but I've always noticed the weird rainbow effect, sometimes the touchscreen can go blank, and for the model of phone I had there was a clear glass over the selfie camera that actually faded the images a bit. EXCLUSIVE TO THIS BRAND: It comes with stickers, wet and dry prep wipes, and a microfiber cloth like most do now (don't buy a brand that doesn't ship them). It doesn't include a card like some other brands of goggles still do, but the card they usually send is fragile and small, also a waste since everyone has an ID or credit card to use. When I first put this screen protector on the screen, I accidentally misplaced it (tried a slightly different process with stickers). I was able to lift it and put it back in place, which doesn't usually work with this type of screen protector, but it was easy to lift (haven't pushed it yet) and put it back down when the sticks still. as it should.
