This is a replacement for an iron that we have had for several years. Our ironing board sits in a high traffic area in our small house and the iron has fallen on the floor many times due to people bumping into the board (we use it 2 times a day so we leave it on all the time), after all Our old splatter button broke from a fall so I replaced it. The first one that came in the mail leaked water all over the ironing board but I sent it back and they replaced it and the new one works great. Love that it gets really hot, the steam boost and the atomizer that we use on cotton every day. We've tried different brands over the years (my husband loves ironed shirts) and this is the best we've had.
