I needed a little more than what I had before (27L - The North Face Jester). I use this as my commute to work bag - I work in healthcare. Suitable for laptop, laptop, good. Room for a change of clothes or two. Shoes also fit, but a little tight. I wish there was more organization in the front pocket and the zipper issue is annoying but bearable. Convenient even when full. I also appreciate that the bag in the front isn't heavy and basically doesn't tip over when full. It's big, but that's why I bought this backpack.
