I can store and carry my assembled pumps, milk storage pouches, nipple cream, charging cords, nursing pads and still have room. I'm thinking of adding a small cleaning brush and a mini bottle of bottle cleaner. It takes up MUCH less space than a traditional pump and bag. Happy to have it for travel. The zipper works smoothly and the Velcro "hands" keep the pumps at the bottom of the bag. The bag looks slightly insulated. I've never stored cold milk before, but I think you could do that for a while by adding a cold compress. I hope this information was helpful.
