I chose this coat because I want a trendier purple coat to wear to work. It's really purple! Not plum or dull like many other coats I've looked at - very vibrant! After reading the reviews and looking at the price I wasn't expecting much. That's a beautiful coat! Tougher than I expected and I think it will be ok for most days in the Pacific Northwest where our winters are not extreme. We'll see how it works over the next few months, but first impressions are very good!
