Terrible design. I think you get what you pay for. As you can see from the photo (can't figure out why it's not loading properly) the middle light doesn't reach the end, it's all the same bulbs. The next terrible thing is that there is only one screw in the middle, so if you tap this light it will tip over or turn upside down. This is probably the most annoying thing about the design. Glass balls do not sit straight and the metal caps that hold the balls do not screw straight in because the ceramic male ends they screw into are crooked. I even tried urging them to straighten them and it didn't budge. So, to give the illusion that I'm straight, I didn't tighten them all the way and the balls wobbled. I really wish I would like this makeup light but it is what it is. I don't take it off, I pack it back to send back, it just needs to live there until we have our own house. Bought cheap and nobody checked for defects - this is obvious. If I could do it again I would spend a little more money and buy better but then again this is not my house and I won't take it with me when I go.
