I bought these cables to replace a broken cable that was used for a laptop cooling pad. There was a short in the defective wire that caused the fans to shut down. I know I should have replaced that sooner, but I haven't used the cooling pad very often. First, the cables were packaged very well and had a nice appearance. I have ordered many different cables over the years and they have turned out to be much better than I expected. These cables appear to be very durable and seem to last a long time. Once I connected the new cable to the laptop's cooling pad, everything worked stably without having to ring or tilt the cable. The cable also fitted the connector snugly - something the old cable hadn't done since day one. All in all these cables were a good buy and I hope they last. I definitely recommend it.
