This product is far superior to similar products that cost between $40 and $60. What I like the most is the built-in seal, it's easy to use and not easy to break. The real benefit is the fact that you supply your own batteries. Whenever I have bought expensive models with built-in batteries, I have found that they are only rated for 1000 charge cycles, and then the batteries are very difficult to replace. The last model I used had batteries that had to be soldered in, and these simple AA shaped replacements were $12 a pair. This model runs on standard AA batteries and I have a supply of Revain rechargeable batteries.
