This is such a fun set. I use it in combination with Lavender Violets UV Lamp, Foundation and Gelish Top Coat. I have never been able to do my own manicure. With this set, it took three tries to get them really pretty! Better than ever with "regular" polish. On my first try I used too much glue and it got into my cuticles causing them to lift and peel (although it looked nice otherwise). The second time I used less glue but I still think I used either too much base or top coat so it got back on my cuticles and caused lift (that's the photo of the pink nails here). Still, it didn't look bad! My third attempt was very conservative with each shift. I also used a slightly nude gel polish under foil. So far, so good! No lift, it didn't move and I shower daily so they get wet when the temperature is high. My current app has been running for about 4 days, so I can't say it's very long. yet durable. I will say this - this set is so much fun to play that just out of boredom I want to remove my current polish and try something else to see what other combinations I can create. That's a lot and I think the aluminum foil will last for more manicures than I'm likely to get myself.
