Make sure the storage space is not used when you activate it.

This machine is powerful. Gives off a lot of ozone which is harmful when inhaled but will dissipate after use if you give it the right time. We use it in our storage areas when someone moves in with smelly dog or cat furniture. It gets rid of the smell. I haven't found how long it lasts, but it's effective.
