Review on Keyboard A4Tech KV-300H gray by Micha Niemczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

Rave reviews were written mainly by those who previously used membrane keyboards. In this case, everything is really as they write. In my case, I was already spoiled by the BTC-6300CL, which is much superior to this model in terms of tactile sensations and plastic quality, does not make noise at all, but only slightly clicks, is pressed smoothly and elastically. But choosing between it and this one, I would still choose this one, all the same, the lack of the need for regular cleaning of cat hair and dust between the keys and the convenience of working with flash drives are serious advantages. In addition, at the time of purchase, the price was somewhat overpriced (750, it seems), but there was no worthy competition for that one, and the similar Genius keyboard was not impressed.

Pros
  • The presence of usb-hubs, the actual scissor mechanism, island design
Cons
  • The mechanics is inferior to expensive models, after the BTC-6300CL the following shortcomings are noticeable: - strong noise, surpassing even membrane keyboards. Now I'm used to it, but at first it was unpleasant, I even wanted to return it, but the advantages outweighed - the keys are flat, the corners are sharp, the keys are made of hard plastic, so they make noise and feel cheap to the touch - no elasticity. On the plus side, the sensitivity is better, but the tactile sensations are not as pleasant as on expensive and laptop keyboards. - large keys play and make noise from the very touch - if you press hard, a crack is heard. This is not the case with expensive keyboards. - complete lack of design - multimedia keys are not needed, but sleep could be done - no legs, at first the slope seemed insufficient. - key gaps could be smaller, wool sometimes still gets into them
