I bought these boxes to put in some homemade fondant to take to work. The boxes were smaller than I thought. I had some trouble building them. When I finally put them together I had to tape the underside with masking tape to keep the fondant from falling out. (I cut the fondant into bite sized pieces) they weren't heavy. I could only fit a few in at a time because they were very fragile. The fasteners fastened together tore very easily and did not close fully. They were cute little boxes, I suppose you could use them for gifts or crafts, which are very light. I wouldn't recommend them for cookies or anything heavy.
