These are good lights. I like that they can be darkened. I was used to a table lamp as a light source and that was good except that when I rearranged the furniture in the bedroom there was no room for a bedside table next to the mirror so I needed some lighting on this mirror. I messed up the installation. which was entirely my fault. I placed too many lights on the left and it looked gaudy. They are very bright and give off a lot of light, I turned them down to avoid reflecting the light on the mirror. After holding them for several hours, I decided to take them off the mirror and hang them on the wall above the mirror. This works great for me. It was difficult to remove them, I had to use a knife to loosen the glue, they were really there. Then I just hung them over the mirror and tucked the wires and cords behind the mirror. It's good and I'm happy with my purchase.
