This is the end of all cameras and when I saw them at Revain for $454 I jumped on them and bought other accessories. I received accessories and an email that my camera order was cancelled. Turns out the order was sent to USAPhotoNation and not Revain. It wasn't a zShops order, it was Revain's own internal order. Upon closer inspection, USAPhotoNation is doing just that. Sells cheap, cancels, calls you and tries to sell you overpriced supplies. Apparently there were some issues with part 2 and they just canceled the order. Revain was unwilling to cut a deal or compensate the promised price they accepted the money for. I received a full refund for the camera, but I still have accessories that I would not have purchased if I had ordered a part. As for the camera itself, it has an excellent optical zoom, it takes pictures with a low compact flash, it also has a pro memory card, has a manual focus ring and otherwise does everything that all other Sony DSCs do. It's a bit bulky, but worth it if you're serious about photography. There have been some reports of purple streaks, but this is generally a feature of the lens. A $30 filter kit improves clarity in odd light conditions and also protects the lens from debris. The camera is a little bulky, but that's to be expected with a decent optical system. This is great for those of us with big hands as you can hold it really well. So I highly recommend this camera, but I strongly advise against using Revain to buy it. Go to your local camera or electronics store and buy one.
