I replaced the lightbulb with this lightbulb in a Sears Kenmore refrigerator with a side door and it works great. I've considered using an LED replacement, but I like the warmer tone and dispersive properties of a traditional incandescent bulb. Just check the wattage and current requirements for your fixture or make sure it's compatible with the original lamp specifications before replacing it with this one. Some of the newer appliances or refrigerators may have different requirements (low-voltage LEDs or LEDs are not recommended, high-temperature frost-resistant bulbs are required, etc.)
