When we have a lot of bacon lovers in our house, we always seem to have a half-cooked piece in a zip-top bag in the fridge. Then a day later, half the disk is in someone's stomach and the ziplock is thrown away in less than 24 hours of use. Now that I have this reusable bacon container, my giant ziplock bags can go back to storing all those big, healthy veggies we need to eat! It's bigger than I expected - it could actually fit 2 pieces of bacon. I've sometimes thrown some sausages or patties right on top of the bacon and it still worked. It seals tight, but I'm not sure if it's completely airtight (not an issue here because the bacon doesn't last very long). I always wash it in the dishwasher and it doesn't warp. I don't like the clasp at the front, a 2-part clasp that you could turn with your thumb and forefinger would be better. I hate to admit it but I'm on the verge of buying a second one so don't complain it's still in the dirty dishwasher!
