Ideal for colored pencils

I watched a video about paper from an artist I follow and she recommended this for printing downloaded coloring pages. Especially if you use colored pencils for coloring. It's about as thick as cardboard and has a really nice texture for applying paint. I pulled the sheet out and it was really strong. It really took on color and I added at least three coats of colored pencil to the sheet. Those familiar with colored pencils can smooth down the pigment with unscented mineral spirits, baby oil, or paint thinner. This paper is thick enough to use these media. I didn't use them when testing the paper, so I can't tell you how they will affect the paper. I think you could probably get a sellable job on this paper, but it's probably best for practice. Overall I give it a thumbs up.

Pros
  • PAIR WITH OTHER SPRINGHILL PAPER. Springhill offers endless possibilities for color creation; Combine this white cardboard with Springhill Printer Color Paper, Colored Cardboard or Accent Opaque Paper
Cons
  • for a consistent look in your project. There are other interesting options.
