I love opal (it's my birthstone) and i have real opal jewelry as well as fake opal jewelry. I dared to buy them and I'm glad I did! Very well constructed, tastefully finished and placed stones (although I would have liked the stones to completely surround the ring, not just the front). The gold doesn't look cheap or "colorless" (I compared them to my real 18k gold hoop earrings). Very good for the office or going out in the evening - a great purchase for the price. I've had them for a few months now and they look brand new (although I don't always keep them in my jewelry bag as recommended). I was so impressed I ordered the silver ones too!
