That's exactly what they say. These are very, very, very thin ribbons that are used for "magic" tricks to make it appear as if you are levitating something. It will take some practice and patience to get used to, but with time and effort you too can make it look like you're levitating a dollar bill! Obviously they're not designed to lift 'heavy' things, even a pencil was too big for the weight they can handle, but you just have to understand what you're working with and work within their limitations.
