This is not a Phillips bulb. Like a dozen times before, I went through the PITA process of replacing the bulb (my only complaint with my Sony projector) with a brand new bulb, and then adjusted the image. Sat down and watched the show and movie. before sleep Turned off the projector and heard a loud, confusing pop (not pops, but pops). The damn lightbulb exploded less than four hours after it was put on. When I pulled the bulb out of the projector, broken glass fell out. That's never happened before, there are a couple of old lightbulbs in there, none have burned out yet.
