One Dock to Rule Them All

I bought this document about a month ago, maybe two, and I'm using a pretty powerful ASUS ROG system. USB-C to dock and then DP from dock to monitor. eventually second, but I've successfully run peripherals through it. - When it works, I think the picture quality and other things are pretty good. - The overall speed of the device when powering up and running seems good. Less PositiveNow for Beats being downgraded.- Doc gets HOT, maybe not hot enough to boil an egg but hot enough to make me worry. Even without increased load, the temperature on the plastic case is much higher than I expected, probably around 60-70Β°C. There is a significant delay when connecting the device to my laptop. (I can live with that) - Peripherals work MOST OF THE TIME, I've had intermittent success with docks and other peripherals. - Finally, the biggest problem; The monitor turns off, and when I mean turn off, it shuts down and never comes on again. Audio and other things still work (external speakers), but the monitor itself is unavailable. A couple of times I was able to reconnect the DP cable and it came back, other times (like today) it doesn't matter and I'll probably have to reset the dock (disconnect a few other peripherals). to return an external monitor (also the main reason for buying a document). Might be worth it for the money but I'm still considering this and other options. I'll post updates as I get them. I must also say that I have NOT contacted Wavlink yet, but might in the future.
