Decent sunscreen on my review.

This b. tan sun safe AF SPF50 sunscreen lotion was available to me through the ebay Vine program. (I was able to try the b. tan sun safe spray as well.) I had a spot on my arm diagnosed as basal cell skin cancer several years ago. In addition to annual skin checks, my dermatologist recommended that I always use a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF30 or higher. This b. tan sunscreen more than meets those requirements. In addition, it is cruelty-free, vegan, reef safe, lightweight, and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Its sunscreen ingredients include avobenzone (3%), homosalate (15%), octisalate (5%), and octocrylene (10%). The lotion has a pleasant tropical scent. It rubs in fairly easily, but is a little bit sticky. While it is not expensive, it is pricier than several of the drug store brands. This sunscreen is made in the USA, and the bottle I received has an expiration date of 18 months out.

Pros
  • Helps to maintain the skin's barrier function, preventing moisture loss
Cons
  • Could cause a reaction with certain medication
