I have two boys who almost live on PS4. My 11 year old loves the new controller very much. He said it's a bit difficult to get started, but other than that it works fine. His 15-year-old brother is very careful about how his hands touch the controller, but he said it works, just not as comfortably as the controller he's been using since buying the system. Basically, I think the size of your hands and the way you hold the controller make a big difference. I've watched them both hold it and my youngest son doesn't seem any more uncomfortable with it than with the stock controller, my eldest son just seems to have to get used to the feeling as his hands have naturally gotten better on the old controller since then fit he has been using it for years. Overall the 15-year-old didn't have any setbacks, he just wasn't that comfortable in his arms but he worked well. My 11 year old loves it and particularly liked the textured feel of the controller. I think I made a good purchase and I'm certainly glad that it already had good reviews when I was looking for a replacement controller.
