As many have said, this is a really "cool" little fan. It moves a lot of air for its size, and the three-speed shifter is a nice touch. Here's the rub: It sounds like a five-year-old fan. It's constantly clicking, popping, and buzzing - either the bearings are worn out or the fan blade is touching the cage. As much as I *wanted* to love this fan, I can't recommend it except for a $7 gamble.
