This is my first time ordering reusable storage bags and I didn't know what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how thick and durable the bags feel and appreciated the wide stitching around the perimeter or edge of the bag. My idea that it would be easy to clean would be if it were dishwasher safe (it isn't). I knew this before buying and honestly I can imagine the dishwasher nozzles would probably cause the packaging to fly around in the dishwasher. Having said that, I simply added a drop of dish soap to a bag of warm water, sealed it tightly, and shook it vigorously. The only thing that bothers me is that I find it difficult to turn it upside down in the open position and wait for the bag to dry. Of course, you can also just use a kitchen towel to speed up the process. In case it helps, I haven't used them in the freezer as my frozen products are usually from my bulk purchases and they're too small for that. I went with a starter pack of 2 sandwiches and 2 starter packs. I only use them to store dry and wet food.
