We always try to support Made in the USA whenever possible, even if it means paying a lot of money for something very cheap to make (I'm a manufacturer, I know how much it is costs to make them). I'm fine with this part. But once you put them together, as others have pointed out, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to separate them. My wife ordered them and she never reads reviews. If I had read the 1 star I probably wouldn't have bought it either. The trick I used was to put them in the sink, mix in a very slippery mixture of dish soap and water, and then bend the sides one at a time while the soapy water dripped. Then I folded the sides for each of them. The soapy mixture was spread around and finally pulled out, but still with some effort. Spend a little more money to wrap it in paper, you're making enough profit already.
