I installed these lights on a stacked bookshelf (lawyer's shelf) that I use as a gift cabinet. Narrow bookshelves are stacked one on top of the other, each with a glass door that lifts and slides into the shelf. The brackets have a slim, elegant design that is aesthetically pleasing for a souvenir and doesn't prevent the glass from sliding down the shelf. The lights emit an amber glow that gives the bookshelf an antique look but is bright enough to illuminate my displayed collection of rocks and minerals. Simply peel off the paper from the back of each washing machine and attach a light to the top of each shelf. I had to drill a small hole in the back of each shelf to run the wire from each light puck to the back where I connected all the bulbs together and to a charging adapter that fits into an outlet. It comes with a pair of extension cords for long range use. LEDs do not heat up, therefore safe on closed shelves. There is a small touch button on the cord that turns the light on and off. Super easy to set up and install.
