First I bought a large one for my 10 lb cat. I would say this size is suitable for cats between 8 and 12 pounds. Big cats will probably fit, but they won't have enough space to get comfortable. Smaller cats will of course fit, but may not feel as cozy and warm. Of course, kittens will most likely grow into it easily. It was packaged in a plastic bag, so it was a little wrinkled, but with a little wrinkling and creases, it came closer to its intended shape in a few minutes. Velcro keeps the flap open, but it's so small it takes two hands to close it. A patch 4-6 times larger (2"×2" or 3" instead of almost 1"×1") would be much better. Is Velcro really that expensive? Maybe I'll sew a patch later on myself more.. getting to the important part, the cat's opinion: at first my 10 month old cat just wanted to fight and kick and bite the patch of bananas in my lap when i sat down she immediately buried her head in it and turned and curled up and immediately closed her eyes to take a nap She really likes the curtain closed and tucked in slightly Advice She stays very warm in bed and slept in it for over two hours the first day I think that means that she approves .
