Just did a good job
I used it for a black carpet for my husband's birthday. The carpet was fine, but didn't shine through. The glue didn't work without my tape. I had to take the carpet on the sides with black electrical tape. Worked on the entrance but got holes later. He coped with the task, but there is nothing to brag about. The length was sufficient. Not high quality but price was within budget.
