When I bought it I knew I might be disappointed as some reviews said the iPad would slide out. It lasted about a month of daily use (6-8 hours) before it started slipping a bit. It didn't bother me as it was very cheap. But it only took once for my iPad to slip completely out of itself and fall to the floor during a class so I could remove this case. I would not buy this product again. If there were no issues leaving the iPad in the case, it would be great. The keys were comfortable and it didn't take long for me to get used to typing at a good speed. The battery life was amazing. The Apple Pencil was secure in its little holder, I was skeptical at first but it turned out to be surprisingly comfortable and strong. But I need a case that protects my iPad and I have a really hard time typing when my iPad is on the floor.
