Bought as a gift for my mom. She was at my house the other day, listening to my speakers and liking the sound. I have 2 other Altec Lansing speakers that are just as good as this speaker. I use a larger Rockbox XL in the pool and a smaller unit like this that my daughter "borrowed" and will probably never see again. 🤣 You won't believe it, but this little thing somehow makes a powerful sound. I think it outperforms the Bose device I have. The sound is crisp and clear, with very good bass and no distortion. Aside from the sound, this speaker has so many features. Not only is it waterproof, but it also floats! It's also shockproof, so you don't have to worry if you accidentally drop it. Even if he falls, he can withstand the impact and keep working. The battery life is surprisingly good. They say it will take 16 hours, and they're not kidding. I can use this multiple times without worrying about the battery. Also fast charging. It has a Bluetooth range of 100 feet and can connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device. There's even speakerphone so you can use Siri and Google Assistant. It is also very portable so you can easily take it with you on the go. This speaker, like my other two Altec Lansing speakers, are high quality speakers with exceptional sound at a great price.
