Review on 🦊 Abreeze Fox Baby Lounger: Portable Super Soft Organic Cotton Nest for Co-Sleeping 0-24 Months by Lisa Hedberg

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for lulling a picky sleeper as he moves from room to bedroom

My 1 month old had trouble sleeping every other night and wanted to be carried until he fell asleep. However, when she is carried to her cot, she wakes up, which is frustrating for both of us as she has to be fed, changed and carried again until she falls asleep (and this keeps happening the more and more she gets). more and more tired and frustrated until she finally gives up and falls asleep) and this cycle can last for almost 5-6 hours. At first I didn't think I was going to abandon this product as we already have and play with the packaging that we use as a crib and there are a number of warnings against using co-sleeping due to the increased likelihood of SIDS, but my husband discovered (in Burst of Genius on a Sleepless Night) that if he lays the girl in this bed and carries the bed and pets the girl in the bed until she falls asleep, the bottom of the bed is strong enough that she doesn't wake up when we move her (to sleep) in a play cot (the bed fits perfectly in the cot). Finally a blessed dream! This moveable bed is also more portable than pack and play, so our pack and play just stays in the bedroom while this bed moves from room to room with the baby when we want to keep an eye on it as it has a comfortable The dining or living room offers space to put in. Reasons for removing a star: 1) The product is short so it looks like our girl will outgrow it in a few months at best (she did). We miss it and wish it lasted longer so we could hold a product she could fall asleep in. 2) This product does not have a waterproof coating, and the coating is not removable, making it difficult to clean. We dealt with this by covering the bed with a lanol treated wool blanket to soak up the urine and placing the bed in a pillowcase to catch the baby's vomit. The blanket is thick enough to lift baby high enough to breathe when the head is turned to one side. In addition, our child can already turn his head from side to side on his own, so we are less afraid of the child choking on the edges of this bed. straps, the sides are no longer flat. Other reviewers commented that the floor was too hard. I found the bottom of the bed strong enough to stay firm and not wake baby up when moving baby from room to room, but soft enough to keep baby comfortable for a decently long sleep. It feels firmer than memory foam, but buckles when weight is placed on it.
