This is just what I needed. A small tabletop tree. There are no instruction on assembly. That is not needed except for fitting the 3 main tree pieces together.After a few tries I got them together. Then you fit the tree to the base. That took some fiddling. I wasn't sure how stable this would be, as it is all friction fit. However it turned out to be quite stable.Next I took all the little decorations out of their little fitted nooks. Each decoration had a small metal ring on top the you hang on the hooks on the tree branches. First problem, some of the hooks are screwed in so far you can't hang the ornament.So I carefully unscrewed the hooks enough to hang the decoration. A pair of small needle nose pliers will help you with this. Next some of the ornaments when hung face the wrong way. Once again unscrew the ring a little to get the right orientation.There were enough ornaments for each of the hooks. I had two left over, but they didn't have the needed ring. They were drilled for a ring, but no ring. Last is the star topper. I don't like the ribbon on the star. But, taking it off, it's glued, looked like it might damage the star, so I left it on. I spent about 30 minutes putting it together. I then spent another 40 minutes rearranging the ornaments to my liking.I found the finial result pleasing. I give it 4 1/2 stars.
